firefox

Are you tired of third-party PDF readers that you have already installed on your computer. Maybe you are worried about some of the security issues that recently came up in Adobe’s products. Here is the good news: Firefox for Windows, Mac, and Linux now has a built-in PDF viewer. That means you can read PDF files without having to download them to open in the Reader app. The tool does not interrupt your browsing experience either. Let’s hope this does not slow down Firefox by a whole lot.

Most tablet users run iOS or Android on their devices. They will soon get the chance to run Ubuntu on their mobile devices. Linux already has a lot of fans around the world. Ubuntu for tablets will have touch friendly attributes and runs on various devices without additional coding. Canonical is promoting the developments of apps in HTML5. The touch-based Ubuntu preview is debuting on February 21st. It remains to be seen when Ubuntu tablets make their way to the market and whether this platform will take off to become a legitimate competitor to iOS or Android.
