NOOK devices are fun to play around with. They have a lot of merits and make great Kindle competitors. Of course, the fact that hackers release new hacks for them all the time has helped too. The latest hack, which was shared at the XDA forums, enables fast refresh mode on the NOOK Touch. The below video shows how fast this really is.

This feature was already available on NOOK Touch. The hacker did not create it. The hack simply activates this feature. If you have a hacked NOOK Touch, you can download the files to play around with this feature. These NOOKs remain popular e-readers due to their low prices and a vibrant community of hackers enhancing them all the time. We can’t wait to see what hackers have in store for these devices in the future.
