Nintendo prepping Wii U eBook store
0Nintendo is not exactly in the business of manufacturing e-book readers. But the company has grand plans for its Wii U. It is not only preparing an app store for the Wii U, it is also launching an e-book platform for the device. The company has already approached publishers and developers about the Wii U e-book store. It is expected to offer “out of print” players guides for games such as Super Mario World.
Let’s make no mistake about it. The Wii U is going to be a gaming console and not an e-reader. But some people may want to read things on their device from time to time. That’s why the idea of adding an e-book store for the Wii U makes sense.
