The company has reassured Kindle Fire buyers that their device will have access to some of the most popular Android applications around.

This should not be an earth shattering news to those of you who have been following Kindle developments in the past couple of months. Kindle Fire is an Android tablet after all. But it is nice to know that the most popular Android apps will work on the device.
