StoryBoard: Turn Movies Into E-books

I don’t know about you but I spend way too much time with my e-reader. Catching up with the latest movies and TV series is difficult when one has a ton of books to catch up with. Wouldn’t it be fun if you could read the content of your favorite movies on your eReader? StoryBoard is a tool that makes that happen.

StoryBoard takes a video file and turns it into a PDF containing still images and text from your TV show. It does so by grabbing still images from your favorite title with subtitles. The end result is an e-book with photos and subtitles you can read.

The tool is a work in progress but the developer has provided proper instructions to get you started. At this point, the tool only outputs PDF but EPUB and Mobi formats might be supported in the future.
