You can get a Kindle Fire HD for kids for $149. That comes with a 2 year warranty. The Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 is better than ever and costs $379. The Kindle Voyage has a 300 PPI display, adaptive light, and PagePress sensors with haptics. Here are the specs:
