Beady-i: DIY Google Glasses

Google Glass has gotten a lot of attention in the media. It could potentially become a highly popular product. But the price is not right at this point. Google is charging $1500 or so for people who want to get it before others. Let’s just say Google won’t be offering these glasses for $100 anytime soon. If you can’t afford those glasses, you could always make your own.
XenonJohn has published an Instructable to show you how to create your own Google-Glass-like device for your iPhone. You will need a pair of video glasses, a gaming headset, and a few other things to pull it off. The Beady-i displays the content from your iOS device and lets you interact with it using the headset.
Trying these types of projects is a lot of fun. Apple and other companies might release their own wearable computers in the future but those won’t be cheap either.
