keyboard

Most of us who have owned and played around with Kindles and other e-readers in the past are familiar with E-ink. E-ink has been used in watches and other portable gadgets too. The E-inkey Keyboard Concept describes a keyboard that uses E-ink screens as keyboard buttons. What’s neat is, you can potentially change the keyboard’s layout and customize its keys conveniently.

e-ink

The use of E-ink technology in such a keyboard has a lot of potential. For starters, buyers won’t have to worry about short battery life. This will be a wireless keyboard with highly customizable keys. It could be quite handy for designers, writers, and other professionals.

We would love to see E-ink be used in more products. You can’t buy the E-inkey keyboard yet but the idea has a lot potential.
