Xtex’s $150 My Tablet 7 To Challenge Kindle Fire?

The Kindle Fire is a pretty affordable tablet and well worth $199. It has allowed Amazon to reach a respectable position in the tablet business in a very short period of time. The pricing strategy has encouraged other tablet makers to drop their prices too. The My Tablet 7 is an Android tablet that runs Android Ice Cream Sandwich and costs only $150. It may not outperform an iPad any time soon but it does offer a lot of bang for your buck.

The My Tablet 7 has a 7 inch display with 800 by 480 resolution. It runs on a 1.5 GHz processor with 1 GB of RAM and has 16 GB of storage. You also get a 2mp front-facing camera for video chats too. Its 3200mAh battery will last you around 6 hours.

This may not be as slick as a Kindle Fire or as powerful as an ASUS Transformer Prime tablet but it is quite affordable for what it offers. It will be interesting to see how well it performs considering that it runs Android ICS.
