Many publishers are obsessed with their sales rank on Amazon. Of course, the higher your rank, the more attention your book receives in the Amazon community. The more books you have published, the harder it gets to keep track of their ranks all the time. If your books are available in multiple Amazon stores, your job will be even more complicated. NovelRank is a free but highly useful service that lets you track your book’s performance. Just provide it with the URL to your book and the rest is done by NovelRank.

NovelRank displays your current and previous months’ sales on Amazon. It also displays your current rank. Not sure when you sold your last book? That information is made available through this service. To gain access to more details, you should download the data in CSV format.

NovelRank shows you the attention your book has received on Twitter and in the blog world. It even tells you your best day and hour based on your sales information. Its iPhone application is very handy too. Users can take advantage of it to track their sales rank for printed and Kindle version of their books. Just like its online version, NovelRank for iOS displays data from Amazon’s stores in the U.S., U.K, France, Germany, Japan, and Canada. The chart feature is very nice.

If you are looking for a productive way to keep track of your book sales on Amazon, you can’t go wrong with NovelRank.
