Google Reader is dying. No matter how hard Google Reader fans try, Google is probably not going to change its mind on the project. The good news is there are decent Google Reader alternatives available. Feedly happens to be among the best. You can add it to Chrome and Firefox to start keeping track of your feeds.

feedly

Feedly makes the process very easy. You can connect your Google Reader account to Feedly to import your feeds. That’s all you need to do. Feedly does have a slightly different interface but for the most part does a decent job tracking RSS feeds. You do want to export Google Reader data using Google Takeout when that option is available.

feedly

Feedly is free and available for multiple platforms. Digg and other sites are expecting to come up with their own RSS reader solutions. We will have to wait and see how great those tools will be. Feedly happens to be one of the best alternatives to Google Reader at the moment.
