I have to say that I am not a big fan of HP products. But the Sprout by HP is quite unique. It is a computer with a projector and scanner. It has a capacitive touch mat and a 3D scanner to help you merge physical objects in your digital world. Here is what you get:

  • Operating System: Windows 8.1
  • HP Illuminator: HD Camera with up to 14.6 MP resolution and the Intel RealSense 3D Camera + Desk lamp
  • Touch Mat: 20″ diagonal, 20-point touch-enabled touch mat
  • Stylus: Adonit Jot Pro stylus
  • Processor: 4th generation Intel® Core i7-4790S Processor
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 745A with 2GB DDR3 dedicated memory
  • Display: 23″ diagonal, 10-point touch-enabled, Full HD (1920×1080)
  • Memory : 8GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600 SDRAM (expandable to 16GB)
  • HDD: 1 TB SATA 6G Solid State Hybrid Drive
  • Webcam: 1MP Webcam
  • Wireless:  10/100/1000 Base-T Network, Bluetooth® 4.0, Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g/n

Thanks to Sprout apps, you are going to have an easier time working on your projects. It remains to be seen how popular this device will be.
