It is no secret that some NOOK Simple Touch owners have been experiencing WiFi issues on their devices after updating their system to software version 1.10. B&N has confirmed that this issue has been known for some time and is working on ways to fix this issue. It has taken B&N quite a while to admit this issue. But this should not be a problem that requires more than a simple software patch.
B&N has not released a timeline for when this update will be released. This is still great news for NOOK owners who have had trouble connecting their devices to the Internet.
