NOOK Audio Is Not an Audio Player

Earlier this month, we heard rumors about B&N getting in the music business. Some expected NOOK Audio to be an audio player of sorts. As it turns out, the NOOK audio is a pair of headphones that will set you back $50. As the Digital Reader reported, B&N won’t likely release a dock. The naming does seem curious. We are not quite sure branding this as a NOOK product justifies buying it.
The NOOK Audio is allegedly made by Bose. An earbud model is expected to be available for a lower price. Considering that Bose makes premium headphones for much higher prices, we are not quite sure about the quality of these headphones just yet.
