Kindle Fire Won’t Start: What To Do
0In the past few months, I have heard many stories about folks who have turned off their Kindle Fire units only to realize they won’t start back up. The very same issue happened to us a couple of days ago. If you are having the same issue, your very best bet is to hold the power button for 20 to 30 seconds to see whether that does anything for your device. We already have a guide on how to troubleshoot a Kindle Fire which covers that and more.
Those of you who are experiencing this issue on a new unit should contact Amazon immediately and ask for a replacement or a fix. If your device is out of warranty, you could always open it up to change its battery, fix its screen, and do other neat things with it. iFixit is one of many places you can check to get instructions on how to open a Kindle Fire and other tablets. Keep in mind that repairing your Kindle is not always possible.
