iPad Mini 2 Delayed?

Apple does make some fun tablets and smartphones. But it does seem the company has not been the same since Tim Cook took over. The jury is still out about Apple’s future but Apple needs to step up its game to keep its fans excited. The latest bad news seem to suggest that the iPad mini 2 with Retina display won’t be released in 2013. That is according to Digitimes, which is not always 100% accurate.

The iPad mini is more expensive than the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire but has reached millions of homes already. It is already a pretty decent tablet. Apple is going to upgrade its design in 2014 but the ones it will release later this year will have minor hardware upgrades.

It remains to be seen what other new products Apple will release later this year (in addition to new iPhones and iPads). But if you have been waiting for months to get an iPad mini with Retina display, you are probably disappointed by this news. Will the new iPad mini go for a lower price? That remains to be seen.
