iOS 8: iPad To Get Split-Screen Multitasking?

Your iPad is going to become a whole lot more useful when iOS 8 is released to everyone. Many of us have been waiting for Apple to bring split-screen multitasking to iOS. That dream could soon become a reality as BGR and many other sources have reported.

So… just in case there was any doubt left… iOS 8’s SpringBoard has code to run two apps side-by-side. 1/4 size, 1/2 size, or 3/4 size

Apple did not announce the feature at WWDC mainly due to the fact that it was not ready for primetime. The final version of iOS should have it though.
