Barnes & Noble has a new e-book reader for book lovers to pick up. The new Nook GlowLight has a front-lit display and 4 GB of storage. The device offers white silicone case, improved light, smoother page turns, and new fonts. While B&N has changed some things, I still don’t feel the company has done enough to make Kindle owners want to buy a NOOK. The company’s dubious track record in the past couple of years (especially when it comes to tablets) is not going to help its cause.
The new Nook GlowLight is a decent e-reader but it is not the fastest one around. In fact, B&N should have released it much earlier. I know I won’t be buying. Let’s hope Amazon releases a new Kindle DX. Now that would be exciting.[via]
