We reported about Amazon’s latest Kindle Touch update just a couple of days ago. Amazon has now released updates for the Kindle Fire 2G, Kindle Fire HD 7″, and Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ devices. These updates provide better support for textbooks (including X-Ray for Textbooks for Kindle Fire HD). You can now track your reading progress with Time To Read. Kindle Editions with Audio/Video are now available too.

Kindle Fire HD 8.9″ owners will now be able to change their device’s language. 8 languages are supported, including English (U.S.), English (U.K.), German, French, Italian, Spanish, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified). Kindle Fire HD 7″ and Kindle Fire 2G owners will get print replica textbook enhancements. All these updates are now available on Amazon and will download automatically over the air.
