$13 Txtr Beagle Ebook Reader Costs $69

So you wanted to get your hands on one of those $13 Txtr Beagle e-book readers? The device is going to be available in the U.S. but will cost you $69. That is as expensive as the Kindle. It is likely that txtr was not able to get enough partners on-board to subsidize the cost of these tiny e-readers. The Txtr Beagle e-reader does have a 5 inch E-ink display and runs on 2 AAA batteries. It is very limited as an e-book reader though. Books can be added to it using an Android app.
At this point, we are not too optimistic about the future of this device. But if you have $69 to burn on anything, getting the Txtr Beagle is not the worst idea.
