PlayBook Tablet Breaks Easily

I don’t know about you, but I have dropped my Kindle in the past a few times. Thankfully, Kindle is more than strong enough to survive such accidents. Of course, no sane person would drop their tablet or e-reader on purpose unless they want to show how fragile their device is. That is exactly what SquareTrade has done with RIM PlayBook. RIM PlayBook may sound like an iPad killer to some but it does have its flaws. As the below video shows, it is pretty fragile too.

RIM PlayBook is not a cheap tablet by any means. One would expect the device to handle short drops. As the above video shows, PlayBook’s screen can crack easily. The device can literally fall apart if you mistreat it.

iPad 2 is expected to be more capable of handling minor accidents. But most tablets and e-readers don’t survive falls that well. PlayBook has many other flaws that will hold it back though.
