wikipedia

Speed reading is one of the most underrated skills to have. Speed reading technologies such as Spritz simply make it easier for more people to improve their reading skills. You don’t even need a smartphone to take advantage of it. Readsy happens to be a new service that lets you try Spritz in your browser. It is available as a Chrome plugin and a bookmarklet.

The tool is very easy to use. Just double click on the paragraph you want to start at, and you can start speed reading right there. Readsy offers character highlighting and eye-line guide. Keep in mind that you don’t need to use Chrome to use this tool. Just drag its bookmarklet onto your bookmarks bar, and you are set. This is a free tool.
