Setting Up Winkfeed on Google Glass

winkfeed

I have been experimenting with Google Glass for a few months now. It may not be available to everyone yet. But you can be sure that Google will be pushing the device hard this year. Google Glass is not just a silly smart device as some experts have suggested. You could actually keep up with the news, capture memories, and do all kinds of neat things with Glass. Winkfeed happens to be an awesome Glass app that gives you news and story updates on Glass.

winkfeed

To enable Winkfeed, you need to go to your Glass portal and turn it on. Once there, you are going to be asked to check app permissions and select your feeds. Not all sites are available, so you may want to request feeds for sites that are not included already. Don’t forget to change frequency and set quiet hours to customize your experience.

feeds

Winkfeed is not perfect but it does allow you to keep up with your favorite feeds on Glass. I still prefer Umano for news consumption though.
