12.9″ iPad Pro Coming in 2014?

The iPad Air is already selling well. Apple is expected to sell millions of these tablets by the time it is said and done. But the company may have more plans to keep dominating the tablet market. The latest rumor suggests that the company is testing a 12.9″ tablet at Foxconn. Those of you who have seen our reviews of the Acer Iconia W7 tablet know that even 11.6″ tablets are not portable or easy to hold. But these larger tablets could prove useful for designers, artists, and business professionals.

This is just a rumor at this point. It does not shock me that Apple is testing new ideas. It can’t let its tablet business get stagnant. At the same it, these larger iPads will be more expensive than the current models. Is there enough demand for such a device? We will have to wait and see.
