Many folks use hours of their time playing around with apps on their tablets and smartphones. Android and iOS both have thousands of interesting apps for you to play with. But people don’t exactly use their devices the same way. According to the Adobe Digital Index report, app session times on tablets are twice as long as those on smartphones. According to Adobe, average tablet sessions last for 24 minutes (13 minutes on smartphones).

More interestingly, iOS apps have longer sessions that Android apps. While Android users download apps more often, iOS users spend twice as long playing with their apps. Financial apps seem to be more popular as far as time spent per session goes.  We can’t say we are surprised by any of this.
