Amazon Updates Cloud Reader to Support Comics

Yesterday, we reported how Amazon has updated Kindle for Android to offer a better reading experience to its users. But that’s not the only thing Amazon has updated. Until now, comic books were only available to Kindle Fire owners. But Amazon has now added support for children’s books and comics to Kindle for iOS and its Cloud Reader.

Amazon already has over 1000 comic and children’s titles available to Kindle users. Kindle users on iOS, Android, and the cloud will now have an easier time taking advantage of them. These books will support Kindle Text Pop-Up too. Comic readers can now take advantage of a Kindle Panel View feature to go through their books frame by frame.

It needs to be said that not everyone is happy with the latest lining and spacing features (some are already complaining about them in the forums and Facebook). These new features have been already rolled out though.
