The iPad Air is now shipping. I was able to get mine as soon as it went live but if you order on Apple, you should be able to get yours starting November 4. Walmart is offering a $20 discount to iPad shoppers. But you will have to wait till 11/8 to get your device. Apple is offering free engraving but that would only delay your order.
The iPad Air is more compact and much faster than previous iPads. It is available in two colors and 4 storage options. You do have the option to visit an Apple store and pick up your device that way. We find online shopping more convenient.
