We have seen all kinds of neat tablets in the past couple of years. The DukePad happens to be a slate powered by Raspberry Pi. For those of you not familiar, the Raspberry Pi is  a cheap computing unit that is quite popular among geeks. You can do plenty of fun things with a Raspberry Pi. The DukePad takes it to the next level. It relies on Raspberry Pi to work.

The DukePad is a do it yourself tablet. The instructions for building it are included, so if you don’t mind a little bit of hacking, you can make your own Raspberry Pi at your own pace. The parts do cost you more than $350 though.
