Twitter is one of the most exciting social networks around these days. It is quite addictive and has millions of active users. Twitter has been available for iOS and Android for quite a while. The latest update for this app brings a number of new features and is optimized for Ice Cream Sandwich. It is now available in Amazon Appstore as well.  According to the company, Twitter will make it to Barnes & Noble Nook store starting February 23rd.

Twitter users now get swipe shortcut functionality on their Android or iOS devices. The iOS version now supports copy/paste. The design for Direct Messages has been updated as well. Thanks to this latest update, you now have one more app to distract yourself with on your Kindle Fire or NOOK Tablet.
