Tablet Repairability: Kindle Fire Beats the iPad, Surface

In the past few months, we have been covering some tips on how you can go about repairing your tablets. As you can see in the above video, the Kindle Fire is not that hard to repair. We can’t say the same for the Surface, Kindle Fire HD, Nexus 10, or iPad. iFixit’s tablet repairability table shows which tablets are easier to repair.

As the table shows, the Dell XPS 10, Kindle Fire, and Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 are quite easy to repair. The iPad Mini, Surface Pro, and iPad 4 can prove more difficult to fix though. Most folks wouldn’t try repairing their tablets. But if are interested, you may want to look up its repairability score.
