Many folks prefer reading paper books rather than using e-readers and tablets. There is a very good reason E-ink based readers are quite popular though. Their displays offers a very similar experience to what you get when using paper books. Regular tablets are a whole other story though. The above image shows how print books stack up against e-readers and tablets. It gives you a good idea why so many people still love and buy E-ink e-readers.
