The Nintendo 3DS is a fun device to keep kids entertained with. It may be a gaming device but Nintendo and Dai Nippon Printing are planning to bring an e-reader app for kids to the device. Considering who the main users of Nintendo 3DS are, this may not be that much of a surprise. The downloadable software is called honto and will be available for free to Nintendo 3DS users.
The software will offer novels for children, picture books, and other study material. Will this be a success? That remains to be seen.[H/T]
