NeRD E-reader for Navy

E-readers are not just for the average consumer. Members of the Navy and other armed forces could use them as well. The NeRD is designed to address that. This is  a tablet with an E-ink display. It works somewhat similarly to the Kindle but does not have Internet capability or removable storage. There is no way to add or delete content either. Considering who this is designed for, these limits are not a surprise. Each e-book reader has 300 books that can’t be changed.

The Navy is making 365 devices at first, but more will follow. The NeRD does let the Navy control the user’s reading habits. Aren’t you glad your e-reader does not have these limitations?
