Have you ever bought a print book from Amazon only to wish you had gone with the Kindle version? The Kindle MatchBook program gives customers the option to buy the Kindle edition of print books they have purchased for a cheap price. Of course, your favorite publishers need to be enrolled in the program for you to have this opportunity.

The idea of bundling physical and digital products is nothing new. Many Amazon customers have wanted this for books for years. With Kindle MatchBook, you:

  • get Kindle editions for a great price
  • quality for purchases dating back to 1995
  • get to use your e-books like regular Kindle books

The program has a lot of potential. It remains to be seen how many authors will join and take advantage of this program and whether the prices remain reasonable.
