It is clear now that the Kindle Keyboard is here to stay. Amazon may not be able to do anything with its hardware. But it has released a new software for it to improve its performance. The Kindle Keyboard Software Update Version 3.4 brings a whole host of new features to your Kindle. You get:

  • Improved font
  • Parental controls for the Experimental Web Browser
  • Kindle Format 8 support
  • Whispersync for Voice
  • Support for Children’s picture books
  • Comic books support

This update is going to make its debut over the air in the coming weeks. You could also download the software manually. In order to find out which version of Kindle you are running, press the Menu key and select Settings to get started.

The Kindle Keyboard won’t be the best e-reader on the market. But it is more than capable of displaying your books in a beautiful fashion. Thanks to this latest update, you will be able to get even more out of your gadget.
