Kindleberry: Raspberry Pi + Kindle Paperwhite

kindle berry

Most geeks have heard of the Raspberry Pi. It is a cheap, hackable mini computer capable of handling all kinds of tasks. As developer Max Ogden has shown, it is possible to combine a Raspberry Pi and Kindle Paperwhite to create a low-power workstation.

The developer has not only connected a Raspberry Pi to a Kindle but also created a wireless system to add WiFi and Bluetooth to the Kindleberry. That means connecting a keyboard to this system won’t be an issue. All the components use low-power processors and can easily be powered for hours when you are on the road. The whole setup is pretty small too. If you love Kindle handle projects, you shouldn’t miss this one.
