Amazon Fixes iOS App Issue with Update

Amazon has had a couple of interesting days in terms of iOS app issues. First, it warned users to refrain from updating to the latest version of the Kindle App by providing this note on the app store:
There is a known issue with this update. If you are an existing Kindle for iOS user, we recommend you do not install this update at this time.
Amazon quickly jumped on the job and fixed the issue with the app by pushing a software patch that fixes registration issues. The company provided this statement to AllThingsD:
We have identified an issue with the app update that may cause your app to become deregistered.
To register, enter your Amazon account e-mail address and password and all your Amazon content will be available in the cloud. We have submitted an update fix for this issue and are working with Apple to release.
The latest update is now available from the App Store. It not only fixes the registration issue but also a few bugs. This is a free update.
