Amazon Building an Android Video Game Console?

Amazon is already making decent tablets. It is rumored to be working on a Kindle smartphone. But could it introduce a video game console of its own? Unnamed sources have told Game Informer that Amazon might release its own game console by the end of the year. The device will work with Amazon’s Android App Store. It will have its own dedicated game controller. Amazon is more than a book seller these days. It offers a ton of content. This move would not surprise me at all. The company will need content for this console to take off though. The Ouya and Shield have already launched but Amazon has the potential to dominate the market with the right moves.
