NOOK App & iOS 7 Issues

There is no question that B&N is overstretched or too clueless at this point. The company has been making one bad move after another. Now we find out that the NOOK app will not be fully compatible with the iOS 7. As Gear Diary has reported, B&N has started warning NOOK users about iOS 7 and possible issues they might experience when using NOOK app on it:

If you rotate the screen while reading, it may cause the page to render incorrectly or may cause the app to crash. To prevent this, we suggest locking the rotation while reading. Click here for iPad instructions and here for iPhone instructions…. If you sign out of your app and then sign in again, the app may crash or you may have trouble accessing your Library.

I guess it is not a surprise that B&N is not ready for iOS 7. That is quite unfortunate but shows that the company simply can’t compete with its current approach. It will surely have an update to fix these NOOK app issues though.
