piqx

We have seen some exciting book scanners in the past. The PiQx Xcanex happens to be a highly portable scanner capable of capturing 5 pages a minute. It is a lightweight and flexible unit small enough to attach to a laptop. The hardware is bundled with a smart software that straightens and cleans the images you capture.

The book scanner weighs only 7 ounces. It has a 8MP camera. Books are automatically detected, so you can just open them and start scanning. XCANEX makes all common types of output file formats like searchable PDF, JPEG, BMP, TIFF and PNG. This portable book scanner will set you back as low as $249.
