Kindle Touch Out Of Stock? New Kindle Coming?

Amazon does not run out of Kindles to sell that easily. The company has sold millions of Kindles already. Considering that the Kindle Touch is not a new device, it is quite interesting to see Amazon not having various Kindle Touch models in stock. Both ad-supported and 3G version of the Kindle Touch are not available for immediate shipment at this point.

This could of course be nothing more than a false alarm. But most experts expect Amazon to bring new Kindle models to the market soon. That includes multiple Kindle Fire models as well as a Kindle with front-lit display. Considering that B&N already has a NOOK with a glowing screen, Amazon is not being exactly early to the market.

When will Amazon release new Kindles? That is not clear at this point. But this latest development suggests an August announcement. We will have to wait to find out.
