Flipboard for Android Enters Beta

Flipboard has been one of our favorite apps on iPhone and iPad. It makes reading and keeping up with the news a whole lot easier. Android users should be happy to know that Flipboard is coming to Android. A private beta for Android users has already been opened. Flipboard for Android will first become available on Samsung Galaxy S III. It is expected to be made available for other Android devices later this summer.
Those of you who have played around with Flipboard for iOS in the past are going to find your experience with this app somewhat similar. The company is taking it a bit slow to make sure things go as smoothly as possible. Flipboard made its debut in 2010 and has grown dramatically already. By getting Android users on-board, Flipboard can only get better.
