Notion Ink Adam vs. Kindle

We have plenty of tablets that aim to compete against Amazon Kindle and other e-ink based e-readers on the market. Apple iPad and Samsung Galaxy Tab are more than capable of displaying e-books. They just happen to be the wrong devices to use under direct sunlight. Notion Ink Adam is a different kind of tablet. It does have an optional Pixel Qi screen that can enhance users’ reading experience outdoors. How great does Notion Ink Adam perform under sun shine? The folks at Good E-Reader have a video up that clearly shows which device is the boss in this area:

Amazon Kindle 3’s screen is pretty hard to beat for tablets and other e-readers on the market. There is a reason Kindle is the best selling e-reader on the market. Let’s hope Kindle 4 will have an even better screen (hopefully with some color option).
