Amazon Phone To Be Announced Today?

The wait for the Amazon phone is finally over. As we reported earlier this week, Amazon is planning to release an AT&T exclusive phone with 3D capability today. The so-called Kindle phone was rumored a couple of years back. Amazon seems to have finally come up with enough innovative features to set its phone apart in this highly competitive market. Many have tried and failed to come up with an iPhone killer. In fact, Apple and Samsung are dominating in this market. So can Amazon change that?

The Amazon phone is expected to be a content consumption device in addition to being a smartphone. It will have 3D graphics with a gesture-control feature to allow owners to play games and operate the phone without having to touch its screen. Amazon will be using the phone to push its products. We expect the device to be priced in a highly competitive fashion. All will be revealed later today.
