We had the chance to review Mr. Reader here a while ago. It is a great iPad application for folks who are using Feedly, BazQux, Feedbin, FeedHQ, Feed Wrangler, Fever, InoReader, Aol Reader or SubReader to keep up with their favorite sites. I thought the last version was buggy and suffered from some performance/stability issues. Mr. Reader has now been updated and looks better than ever. Here is what Mr. Reader 3.0 has to offer:

  • Redesigned for iOS 7
  • new icon
  • support for 64-bit processor
  • automatic background synchronization
  • support for AOL reader
  • image caching improvements
  • pull down gesture
  • …

mr reader

Mr. Reader is not perfect but quite special in its own way. It supports a ton of RSS readers but does not cost a fortune. You can download this version for under $4.
