The iPad has one of the fastest chips on the market. But we are going to see even faster Android smartphones and tablets soon. NVIDIA has unveiled its Tegra K1 Processor, which happens to be a 192-core chip. It is based on a 64-bit architecture and can reach speeds up to 2.5 GHz. That means you will be able to use apps, watch videos, play games, and do everything else faster.

The chip will be available in two versions, one of which will have a custom 64-bit architecture with Direct X 11.1 support. We will have to wait to see when devices with this processor inside will debut. But our tablets and smartphones are soon going to be a whole lot faster.
