Kindle DX To Be Unveiled This Week!

The wait seems to be finally over as Amazon gets ready to unveil Kindle DX to the world on Wednesday. Kindle DX is Amazon’s latest gadget, designed to help the company reach out to the younger generation (college students) and bring a more sophisticated e-news reader to the market.

We have heard a lot of about Kindle DX (3.0) in the past few days. We do know that it will be bigger and come with features to help folks read newspapers and magazines on their gadget more conveniently. The screen is rumored to be 9.7 inch, which is big enough to read most e-books/e-magazines in a more convenient way. It’s not clear whether Amazon will be introducing a color screen with Kindle DX at this point, but it would be a great surprise if it did.

I do expect Amazon to announce its push to get universities and colleges more involved with Kindle. Kindle could be a life-saver for students, and as long as Kindle DX is well supported by colleges and universities and not ultra expensive, Amazon should have no problem growing in this segment of the market.
