Android Tablet Usage: Amazon Rules

The Nexus 7 is our favorite tablet. But it is not dominating the Android tablet market. It seems Amazon Kindle Fire tablets get more attention from their owners. A recent study by Chitika suggests that usage rate of Nexus 7 tablets has remained the same while the Kindle Fire is getting more love from users. Amazon has been discounting its tablets, so that could explain things.

We are going to have to wait a few months to figure out how the new Nexus 7 will impact the market. Considering that Amazon is expected to release new Kindle Fire tablets soon, it is safe to say the Kindle Fire brand will continue to dominate among Android tablets.
