Android Honeycomb Runs on Nook Color?

Nook Color may not be the best e-book reader on the market. But it certainly is a gift that keeps on giving. It is not only a very affordable Android tablet, it can be hacked to run games and all kinds of software solutions. Deeper blue at xda-developers has managed to run Android Honeycomb on Nook Color. We are talking about the preview version of Honeycomb so it is not a perfect OS at this point.

Having the ability to run Android Honeycomb on Nook Color in the future is a very intriguing development. Android Honeycomb is optimized for tablets only. Since Nook Color is an Android tablet of sorts, Honeycomb should only enhance its capabilities. At this point, it is not clear whether B&N intends to bring Android Honeycomb to Nook Color 2 in the future. But you can always hack it…
