Amazon Kindle Smartphone Coming?

Amazon has been making e-readers and tablets for a few years now. The company’s devices are made for content consumption. As Jeff Bezos has mentioned in the past, Amazon makes money as people use their devices. So it is not a surprise that the company may be thinking about bringing a smartphone to the market. At least that is what DigiTimes is reporting.
The folks at DigiTimes are not exactly 100% accurate with their rumors. They report all kinds of crazy stories. This time around, the site is suggesting that the Kindle phone will reach the market in June. We do not know a whole lot about this phone at this point. But it is safe to say it will be a budget phone. Will it encourage people to buy more content? That remains to be seen.
